Looking for the perfect way to keep your kids active, outdoors, and entertained during the long summer holidays?
Join us for an unforgettable summer of surfing, fun, and adventure at Gower Surf Academy on the beautiful Caswell Beach, Swansea.
Our Summer Holiday Kidz Club runs on weekdays from Monday 20th July to Friday 28th August, welcoming children aged 7–16.
Sessions run daily from 9:30am – 3:15pm, giving kids a full day of supervised surf, ocean learning, and fresh sea air.
Summer is a brilliant time to learn to surf, with warmer water, longer days, and friendly conditions that are ideal for beginners and improving surfers.

What Happens in Challenging Conditions?
If the tide is too high or the waves are small, we adapt the sessions to keep things safe, fun, and educational.
This may include paddling, bodyboarding, or land-based learning focused on surf safety, understanding the beach environment, reading the water, and finding lifeguards.
Sessions may be cancelled in extreme weather, mainly high winds. Rain alone will not usually affect sessions — they’ll be wet anyway! If a session does need to be cancelled, we will make the call the night before and contact parents directly.
Limited Spaces – Book Early!
Summer is our busiest time of year and spaces fill quickly, so we recommend booking early to secure your child’s place.
📍 When booking, please include your child’s name for the register.
🚫 If dates are missing online, they are already fully booked.
Daily Schedule 🏄♂️
9:30am – 10:00am – Sign-in at the surf school
📍 Find us at the hut at the top of the access ramp coming off the sand
10:00am – Safety briefing & daily plan
10:15am – 12:00pm – First surf session 🌊
12:00pm – 1:00pm – Lunch break 🍽️
1:00pm – 3:00pm – Second surf session 🌊
3:00pm – 3:15pm – Change out & pick-up
Timings may vary slightly depending on tides and weather.
What to Bring 🏖️
👕 A change of warm clothing
🩳 Swimwear to wear under the wetsuit
💧 A bottle of water
☀️ Sun cream
🏖️ A towel or drying robe
🍽️ Packed lunch or money for the nearby shop
